■ From JR Ueda Station
Take the Ueda Railway Bessho Line to Bessho Onsen Station (about 30 minutes). Then take the Ueda Kotsu Bessho route bus to each ryokan and get off at Bessho Onsen (about 5 minutes). About 8 minutes on foot from there. Alternatively, tell the hotel of arrival at Ueda Station before and they will pick guests up.
■ By car
Exit the Joshin-etsu Expressway at the Ueda-Sugadaira IC and continue along National Route 18 for about 20 minutes (10 km), then Prefectural Route Bessho Line for about 20 minutes (10 km).
